Mary Jane "Jennie" Greer Sarrett was born in Nashville, Tennessee on December 8, 1915 to Thomas Jefferson Greer and Maude Malloy Greer. "Jennie" passed away on January 3, 2015 in Marshall, Texas at 99 years of age. She was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, and crocheted up to six months before her passing. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Survivors are her sons, Bob Sarrett and wife, Shirley of Terrell, Texas, and Gaylon Sarrett of Scottsville; sister, Lois Greer of Newton, Texas; granddaughters, Teri Maxwell of Mesquite, Texas, and Angie Alton of Waskom, Texas; five great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Millard Sarrett and her grandson, Brandon Sarrett.
