Mary Virginia Moore was born December 19, 1929 to Thomas Alvin and Nellie Amelia George Mullins. Mary Virginia married George D. Moore on April 9, 1949 in Marshall, Texas. Mary Virginia worked a few years at Universal Match Company, and then worked as a homemaker. She was a member of Port Caddo Baptist Church. Mary Virginia enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading and fishing. She had dedicated her life to taking care of her family. Mary Virginia is survived by her son, Doug Moore and wife Janice of Marshall; daughter, Linda Fitzwater of Marshall; son-in-law, Dean Jones of Carthage; granddaughters, Rhonda Jean Moore, Amanda Lynn Moore; great granddaughter, Makayla Moore, all of Marshall; brother, Jimmie Mullins of Sacramento, CA; a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and her baby dachshund, Missy Lynn. Mary Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George Moore, a daughter Brenda Kay Jones, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
