Funeral services for Mary Dolores Stegall Stickle, 78, of Marshall will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 3, 2013 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Segers and Bobby Daingerfield officiating. Interment will follow in Colonial Gardens Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Downs Funeral Home. Mrs. Stickle passed away October 30, 2013 in Marshall. Mary Dolores Stegall Stickle was born February 8, 1935 in Marshall, Texas to Richard and Rachel Stegall. Mrs. Stickle is survived by her children, Canddie and Mitchell Guffey, William Stickle; grandchildren, Megan & Bartley McIntosh, Daniel Guffey; great grandchildren, Melody and Avery Stickle; Christy, mother of Melody and Avery; and her special pet companion, Missy. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jonah Albert Stickle. The honorary pallbearers will be Dave Holmes, William Stickle, Bartley McIntosh and Mitchell Guffey. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to The Pet Place, Humane Society of Harrison County, 1901 Jefferson Avenue, Marshall, Texas 75672.
