A visitation for Mellinda Finley Craig, 53, of Hallsville, Texas will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Downs Funeral Home.

Mellinda was born on May 27, 1970, in Lovington, New Mexico to Millard Thomas Finley and Georgia Faye Cleve Finley and passed away on September 26, 2023, at her home in Hallsville, Texas.

She enjoyed spending time at the lake and having good times and loved to shop. She served as District Clerk in Harrison County from 2011 to 2014. Most of all she loved her son, Andrew and her cats.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Georgia Finley and husband, Bruce Craig.

She is survived by her son, Thomas Andrew Craig; sister, Melissa Finley Watkins along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
