Graveside services for Mettie Louise Elwood Francis will be at 10:00 a.m., August 24, 2021 at Cave Springs Cemetery in Marshall, Texas.

Mettie Louise Elwood Francis was born on June 13, 1935 in Marshall, Texas to her parents, Earl Elwood and Elizabeth Rowe. Mrs. Francis passed away on August 19, 2021 at Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center in Marshall, Texas. Mrs. Francis was a floral designer for Marshall Floral Shop for 45 years. Mrs. Francis was a member of Marshall Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading books and sewing.

Mrs. Francis is survived by her children; Elbert Davis and wife, Dianne, Shirley Shaw and Ronnie Williams; seven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

Mrs. Francis is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Kennith Brian Francis; son Jimmy Davis; one brother and five sisters.
