Michael Lynn Hodge Funeral services for Michael Lynn "Mike" Hodge, 47, of Diana, formerly of Marshall will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 23, 2011 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Pastor Ross Worley and Bro. Gary Hill officiating. Interment will follow in Algoma Cemetery North. Mr. Hodge went home to serve the Lord on May 20, 2011. Mike was born the 25th day of April, 1964 to Bob & Maxine Hodge of Marshall. He was a member of Peace Fellowship of Diana. For over 20 years he has been a Security Officer and Private Investigator for a Security Company, A-1 Security, JM Security, Night Hawk, and G-4 Security. He also did consulting with Denkeler Security. His biggest goal in life was when he became a Corrections Officer for the State of Texas in 2011. He loved to go camping and fishing and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife Danise of Diana; daughters, Courtney Carroll Hodge, Chelsey Carroll Hodge, and Cheyanne Carroll Hodge, all of Diana; his mother, Maxine Hodge of Marshall; and brother, Tommy Hodge and wife Donna of Marshall. He was preceded in death by his father Bob Hodge, and grandmother Meryl Hodge. The family would like to thank Dr. Laney Frase of Texas Oncology and Kinsman Hospice of Gilmer for their great care and kindness.
