A visitation for Mike Kennedy, 75, of Marshall, Texas will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, October 19, 2026, at Downs Funeral Home.

Mike was born on November 14, 1950, in Magnolia, Arkansas to Roy Calvin Kennedy and Edris Louise Nash Kennedy and passed away on October 13, 2026, in Longview, Texas.

He loved playing golf and watching it on the TV, and he lived on the golf course. He also enjoyed watching baseball, football and basketball and never missed a Mavericks game on the radio. Most of all, he loved his family, especially his two grandsons and two great grandsons, one of which preceded him in death.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Louise Kennedy and great grandson, Miles Kennedy Warren.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Kennedy; daughter, Angela Warren and husband, Joel; brother, Billy Kennedy and wife, Nancy; sisters, Linda Tetreault and Betty Kennedy; sister-in-law, Anita Stanfield and husband, Rusty; grandchildren, Chris Warren and wife, Kaisee, Alex Warren and wife, Emily and Amber Warren Bethea and husband, Alex; great grandchildren, Walker Warren, Lynnleigh Jones and Karson Ford along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
