Mildred "Louise" Washburn White (98) was born on November 26, 1925, and passed away peacefully in Carthage, Texas on December 24, 2023.

Louise married her sweetheart right after high school and became a dedicated wife and mother. She had many talents, but her love of cooking, gardening, and quilting were the most evident. She loved to design and gift elaborate hand-stitched quilts to her children and grandchildren. In addition to the quilts and memories, she leaves a legacy characterized by her unwavering determination, deep love for family, and strength to endure life's trials.

Predeceased by her husband, Robert Newell "Pete" White, her daughter, Patsy Jane White, and two of her sons, Max Ray White and Howard Neal White.

Her influence will be felt through the family she leaves behind, including her oldest son, Colonel (Retired) Robert Lynn "Bobby" White; her seven grandchildren, Haley White Johnson, Torri White Crosby, Chevy White Burnett (Bobby), Travis and Tracy White (Max Ray), Heath White and Heather White Jenkins (Howard Neal) and her 20 great-grandchildren along with numerous other family and friends.

A graveside service honoring her life will take place at Restland Cemetery in Waskom on Saturday, December 30, at 1:00 pm.
