A memorial service for Mindy Gail Tims, 45, of Marshall, Texas will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, May 30, 2024, in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel.

Mindy was born on November 2, 1978, in Longview, Texas to Michael Tims and Beverly Henigan and passed away on May 27, 2024, in Tyler, Texas.

She attended Marshall High School and Panola College. She worked in the service industry for many years. She had a special compassion for the elderly shut-ins. She had a great sense of humor and a sweet spirit. She loved going out to eat and spending time with her family. She especially loved shopping on girls' day out.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Thomas (Ace) Henigan, Clarence (Tiny) and Joyce Tims and Wilburn and Norma Hudson.

She is survived by her daughter, Skylynn Adams; step-son, Ian Pike; mother and stepfather, Michael and Beverly Hudson; father and wife, Michael and Pat Tims; brothers, Michael (Bud) Tims and wife, Tabitha and Derick Hudson and wife, Stacy; nephews, Justin Tims and wife, Elizabeth, Cole Tims and Liam Hudson; niece, Sophie Hudson; grandmother, Dale Henigan and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins along with other family and friends.

We would like to extend a special thanks to the Doctors, nurses and staff at UT Health in Henderson and Tyler for their kind and dedicated services. A special thanks for the "Walk of Honor" showing their respect for Mindy.
