A graveside service for Minnie Pearl "Nana" Stewart, 69, of Tatum, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Elysian Fields Cemetery, with Chad Commander and Brad Simms officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Downs Funeral Home.

Minnie was born on February 14, 1955, in Bennington, Oklahoma to James Ollis and Lucille Jones Ollis and passed away on May 7, 2024, at her home in Tatum, Texas.

She married Dale Clayton Stewart, Sr. on February 8, 1974, and they remained married until his passing on March 8, 2012. She was a natural born caregiver to her kids, their friends and her grandkids. She loved watching Days of Our Lives, The Young and The Restless and most of all Jerry Springer and The Steve Wilkos Show. She also enjoyed sitting on her front porch talking, drinking coffee or diet coke.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Dale Clayton Stewart, Sr.; sons, Dale Clayton Stewart, Jr. and Roger Dale Stewart; granddaughter, Amanda Nichole Morris and great grandson, Grayson Layne Fountain.
