A funeral service for Misael Gaona, 30, of Longview, Texas will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, July 14, 2023, in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel.

Misael Gaona was born in Marshall, Texas on April 14, 1993, to parents Abel and Angelica Gaona and passed away on July 10, 2023, at the age of 30, in Longview, Texas.

He was a loving son, father, fiancé and brother. Misael loved to spend time with family, loved to listen to music and loved to do yard work.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his Fiancé, Bella Lopez; son, Santos Mariano Gaona; daughter, Maci Cornelius; sisters, Nancy Gaona and family and Brenda Fajardo and family; brother, Abel Jr Gaona and family along with numerous other family and friends.
