Funeral services for Mr. Mouzon R. Tiller, 97 of Elysian Fields will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday November 27, 2010 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Coburn and Rev. Bruce "Ty" McKinnon, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Elysian Fields Cemetery in Elysian Fields. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Friday November 26, 2010 at the funeral home. Mr. Tiller passed away Sunday November 21, 2010 at his residence. Mouzon R. Tiller was born November 09, 1913 in Panola County to Albert C. and Pearl Weeks Tiller. On September 06, 1940 he married Frances Bell Wellborn, who preceded him in death. Mr. Tiller was a rancher and cattleman. Surviving Mr. Tiller are son, Albert S. Tiller; two daughters, Martha T. Bounds and Alice T. Langley all of Elysian Fields; five grandchildren; brother, James W. Tiller of Elysian Fields and sister, Lillian Tiller Barnett of Grapevine and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be his nephews: Max Ball, Raymond Ball, Carl Neal, Eugene Neal, Lin Shivers, Roland Shivers, Bill Tiller, Eric Tiller, Jr., Jim Tiller, Robert Tiller, Wayne Tiller, In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the Mouzon R.
