Graveside service for Nancy Jones Peak, 86, of Waskom, TX, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Concord Cemetery with Bro. Eric Peyton officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, November 7, 2014 at Downs Funeral Home. Mrs. Peak passed away November 3, 2014 in Marshall, TX. Nancy Jones Peak was born October 12, 1928 in Waskom, TX to John and Lucy Vaughan Jones. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Waskom. Mrs. Peak and her husband owned Peak Oil Field Construction & Supply where she worked as bookkeeper for many years. Surviving Mrs. Peak is her children, Karen Pinkston and husband Don and Ray Peak, all of Waskom; brothers, John P. Jones of Waskom and Edmond Jones of Apopka, FL; 5 grandsons; 1 great grandson; 1 great granddaughter; other relatives and friends. Preceding Mrs. Jones in death were her parents, John and Lucy Jones; her husband, John R. Peak; and 1 sister.
