A graveside service for Mrs. Nellrene Holt will be held at 11:00a.m. Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Crossroads Cemetery. Art Ostrander will be officiating the service.

Nellrene Holt, 93, of Marshall, Texas passed away peacefully on November 26, 2018 with her family by her side. Mrs. Holt was born April 10, 1925 in Marshall, Texas to her parents, Travis Grimmer and Lenora Hickey Grimmer. Mrs. Holt was a member of The Church of Christ. She was also a member of The Women's Auxiliary of VFW and Blocker Good Neighbor Club. She loved cooking and was one of the best around. Mrs. Holt loved all of her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Holt is survived by son, Larry Davis and spouse, Mitzie; two daughters, Twilla Simmons and spouse, David, Juana Boone and spouse, James; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and other extended family and friends.

Mrs. Holt is preceded in death by her parents, Travis Grimmer and spouse, Lenora Hickey Grimmer; two husbands, Elzie Davis and Herman W. Holt; two sons, Travis N. Davis and Jerry W. Davis.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that any donations be made to Cancer Association or Sunny Glen Children's Home.
