A graveside service for Oleta Perry, 89 of Karnack will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Algoma North Cemetery, Marshall, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Downs Funeral Home. Oleta Stringer Perry was born November 15, 1925 to James and Josephine Stringer. In her life, Oleta was a loving wife, mother and friend. She worked many years as a beautician and a homemaker. Like all of us, she was an imperfect human, but we take comfort in knowing she is with our Lord, as she invited Christ into her life. Oleta Perry passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015 having attained the age of 89 years. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to her caregivers, who were more like her family; Susan, Juanita, Linda, Penny and Tina, thank you for your time, love, and support for my mother.
