Obituary

A memorial service for Pamela Merl Ruppe Golladay will be held at 10:00 a.m. on October 28, 2026, at Crossroads Baptist Church, Marshall, Texas.

Pamela Merle Ruppe Golladay was born on February 6, 1954, to Melvane and Delores Ruppe. She passed away on October 21, 2026.

Pam married Ronald Eugene Golladay, Sr., on August 30, 1972 and together they raised their family and shared many years of life. Ron preceded her in death on October 28, 2011. She is now at peace and reunited with him.

Pam spent many years working in the carpet and wallpaper businesses before retiring and spending time enjoying tending to her plants.

She is survived by her children, Ronnie Golladay, Jr. (wife Lucy) and Brad Golladay (wife Kelee), both of Elysian Fields, Texas, and her daughter, Rhonda Golladay of Lufkin, Texas.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, whom she was very proud of: Ryley (Janna) Golladay, Braxton (Chesley) Golladay, Raigan (Troy) Davis, Addison (Jordan) Graff, Kloe Golladay, and Everley Golladay. Her great-grandchildren are Griffin and Brady Golladay, Monroe Davis, Royce Graff, and Rowan Golladay.

Other survivors include her siblings, Mike, Jody, Steve, and Stephanie; her special niece, Malissa “Missy” Tatman of Panola, Texas; and her cousin, Bob Horton of Bethany, who was always willing to help her out when she needed. She was preceded in death by her siblings Danny, Debbie, and Carmen.

Pam loved Christmas and took great pleasure in buying gifts for her children and grandchildren. She left behind carefully organized and labeled presents, along with instructions about who should receive them. Even in her final days, she made sure her family knew what to expect, including packages she had ordered that would arrive after her passing. Those gifts will be a lasting reminder of the way she thought of her family.

Pam leaves behind a family she loved and was proud of. She raised strong sons who went on to build families of their own, and her children and grandchildren will carry her memory with them.

Pam is now at peace and strolling over Heaven with Ron. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
