Pastor Sanchez was born on May 1, 1938, to the parents of Inacio Sanchez and Paula Mondragon and departed this life on Sunday, February 26, 2023 in Longview, Texas. He loved Fishing, traveling, hunting and especially farming. He loved raising watermelons, corn and other produce. He really enjoyed seeing the crops grow and being able to gather them and share with all his family and friends. He also loved his horses and raising cattle. Most of all, enjoyed the family BBQ's and cooking for all of his family. He was loved by all who knew him and will be cherished by all. He is preceded in death by his parents, Inacio Sanchez and wife Paula Mondragon Sanchez.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Tranquilina Ortuno`; sons, Salvador Sanchez, Gustavo Sanchez, Octavio Sanchez, Pastor Sanchez, Juan Sanchez, Luis Sanchez and Roberto Sanchez; daughters, Elena Sanchez, Rosalva Sanchez, Alicia Sanchez, Marta Sanchez, Paula Sanchez, Natalia Sanchez and Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Downs Funeral Home Friday evening March 3, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm for visitation with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 4, 2023, at the St Joseph Catholic Church in Marshall, Tx. with Father Isaac Oviedo presiding. Interment will follow at the St Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
