Moore
Jul 8, 1956 — Jan 11, 2024
Marshall
Pat Moore, 67, passed away in Longview, Texas on January 11, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on July 8, 1956, to Howard and Juanita Dale. Pat graduated Southwood High School in 1974 before attending Centenary College to become a Radiology Tech. In 1976, she started a career at Marshall Memorial Hospital. She later went to work at Regional Urology in Shreveport until retirement.
She met the love of her life, Gerald Moore in December 1976. Excited to start their life together, they soon married on April 16, 1977. Pat and Gerald have been an example of love and devotion for the last 47 years. She loved her children endlessly and always had a listening ear and a strong shoulder. She didn't mind keeping them in line but also held their hand when needed.
Now, those grandbabies…they never did anything wrong. Pat tried to spoil them all and loved to sing them to sleep. They will all miss her forever.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Juanita Dale; sister, Nita Lowery; daughter, Lisa Shields; grandson, Landon Moore and her in laws, Carol and Alice Moore.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Gerald Moore; children, Leslie Baker and husband, Johnny, Chuck Moore, Courtney Jackson and husband, Travis, Amanda Moore, Jared Moore and wife, Cintia and Keely Moore; 18 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; brother, Howard Michael Dale and brother-in-law, Charles Lowery along with numerous other family and friends.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 18, 2024, in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Walnut Springs Cemetery in Panola County, Texas. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her honor to The Wounded Warriors Foundation or to The Shriners Hospital.
