Funeral services for Patricia Sue Berry, 75, of Woodlawn, TX will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Summit United Methodist Church with Dr. Randy Fitzgerald and Dr. Danny Warbington officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held 5:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Downs Funeral Home. Mrs. Berry passed away April 21, 2014 in Marshall, Texas. Patricia "Pat" Berry was born March 4, 1939 in Longview, Texas to James Curtis and Eula Mae Ayers Burnett. She was a graduate of Marshall High School. Pat married Jerry Berry on March 8, 1957 at Summit United Methodist Church in Marshall where Pat was a lifetime member. They were blessed with 3 daughters. Pat retired as postmistress of the Woodlawn Post Office. She was an avid Maverick sports fan. Surviving Pat are her husband, Jerry Berry of Woodlawn; daughters, Debbie Fielden and husband David of Harleton, Dawn Lee and husband Scotty of Marshall, D'Etta Oney of Woodlawn; 4 grandchildren, Ben Fielden of Harleton, Canon Lee and wife Brittany of Marshall, Cassie Lee of Hallsville, Liz Oney of Woodlawn, Joseph Fielden and wife Kydia of Harleton; 1 great granddaughter, Caroline Tate Lee; and brother, James Curtis Burnett, Jr. and wife Mary of Pearland, TX; and other extended family and friends. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, James Curtis and Eula Mae Burnett; twin brothers, James Ray and Curtis Roy Burnett; and grandson, Blake Lee. Memorials can be made to Summit United Methodist Church or Trinity Episcopal School.
