Funeral services for Paula Carter Reynolds, 64, of Marshall will be held 12:00 p.m., Thursday, February 23, 2012 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Rev. Ron Segers will officiate. Burial will follow in Forrest Park West Cemetery, Shreveport, LA. The family receive friends for a time of visitation on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m., February 22, 2012. Mrs. Reynolds passed away Monday, February 20, 2012. Paula was born February 22, 1947 in Winnsboro, Texas to Jessie Ervin and Bobbie Ruth Reynolds Carter. She married Marvin Reynolds, Jr., on March 7, 1980 in Marshall. Mrs. Reynolds was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She had a strong foundation of faith. Mrs. Reynolds is survived by her husband, Marvin Thurman Reynolds, Jr.;her sister, Jo Dale Robinson, daughters, Donna Marie Shafer and Cynthia Rene Reynolds; son, James Theodore Shafer, and grandchildren, Raven Marie Rich and Alicia Rechelle Walker.
