Funeral service for Mrs. Paulina Velarde Marin will be held at 3:00p.m Monday, October 7, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marshall, Texas. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00p.m. with a rosary at 6:30p.m on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Downs Funeral Home in Marshall, Texas.

Paulina Velarde Marin was born on June 29, 1955 in Mexico to her parents, Genero Velarde and Vrsula Suarez. Mrs. Marin passed away on October 4, 2019 surrounded by her family. Paulina was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Mrs. Marin is survived by her husband, Luis Marin Martinez; children, Bertha Marin, Raunel Marin, Rocio Marin, Brenda Marin, Maria Marin and Luis Jr. Marin; siblings, Josefina Sanchez, Juan Abelardo, Juana Acuna, Jose Abelardo and Maria Flores; grandchildren, Danny Dominguez, Eber Jaimes, Alan Taylor, Kaitlyn Taylor, Lindsey Jaimes, Jesus Jaimes, Selena Jaimes, Juliza Perez, Jason Marin and Juliet Perez.

Serving as pallbearers will be Luis Jr. Marin, Danny Dominguez, Alan Taylor, Javier Leal, Jaime Abelardo, Marcelo Jaimes, Marti Perez and Jesus Jaimes.
