A Memorial Service for Peggy Pierce, 77, of Marshall will be held at 11:00a.m. Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Crossroads Baptist Church with Bro. David Rice officiating. Ms. Pierce passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016 in Marshall.

Peggy Ruth Pierce was born October 11, 1939 in Houston, Texas to Frank and Dixie Cutaia. Peggy and her family lived in the Woodleyville Community of Elysian Fields for 44 years. Peggy was well known for baking cakes, specifically her sandwich cake. It was asked for often, by many. She attended Crossroads Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish the memories of Peggy Pierce are her daughter, Kathy Prothro and husband, Terry; son, Larry Pierce, Jr. and wife, Lynette; sisters, Diane Griffin and Becky Cutaia; brother, Charlie Cutaia and wife, Kris; grandchildren, Kasey Earl and wife, Amanda, Tia Prothro, Wyatt Pierce and Lillie Pierce; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding Peggy in death are her parents, Frank and Dixie Cutaia; and her husband, Larry W. Pierce, Sr.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crossroad Church building fund.
