Percy Moore, Jr. was born June 9, 1952 in Wilmot, Arkansas to Percy Ledell Moore, Sr. and Marcile Carter Moore. Percy passed away January 11, 2018 in Marshall, Texas.

He married Gale L. McBride on December 30, 2002 in Marshall, Texas. Percy worked for General Motors.  He had a black belt in Tai Kwan Do and also taught it.  Percy loved photography and the music from the 70's.  He enjoyed visiting the Museum of Natural History and the Bronx Zoo.  Percy helped lots of single mothers and children, and he loved all sports.

Funeral services for Percy will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, January 18, 2018 in the chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, January 17th at Downs Funeral Home.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Gale L. McBride Moore of St Albans, New York; sister, Beverly Moore of Marshall; four nephews and two great nieces. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Dwight and David.
