Funeral services for Perry D. Johnson Sr., 57, of Marshall, TX will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Texas & Louisiana Baptist Association with Pastor Kevin Anthony officiating. Burial will follow in McJohnson Cemetery. Mr. Johnson passed away February 9, 2015 in Longview. Perry D. Johnson, Sr. was a loving, caring, and helpful man to his family and friends. He was born November 4, 1957 to Ola Mae Johnson and Lincoln Morris, Sr. Perry D. attended Marshall Public Schools. He was a well-known man who never met a stranger. He loved spending time with family and friends whether it was playing basketball or doing his specialty "bar-b-queing"! He was preceded in death by his parents, Mrs. Ola Mae Johnson and Mr. Lincoln Morris, Sr. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Rejena George; his step-mom, Mrs. Eleanor Morris; his children, April Dixon Butler (Victor Butler), Perry Johnson, Jr., Darryl Johnson, Latoya Taylor, Kendall Phillips, Keilan Phillips, Marcus Sneed; step-children, Aleshia George, Tneshia George; siblings, Isiah Cook, Verna Calhoun, Lynn D. Johnson, Beverly Joseph, Jacquline (Jackie) Parker, Devonia Johnson, Christopher Johnson (Chanika Johnson), Lincoln Morris, Jr., Kerry Morris, Sr., and Lashondra (Shell) Morris; 14 grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
