Graveside services for Mr. Philip L. Owens, 66 of Lake Cherokee will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday November 20, 2010 at Yates Memorial Gardens in Scottsville. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Friday November 19, 2010 at the funeral home. Mr. Owens passed away Saturday, November 13, 2010 in Longview. Philip Owens was born September 30, 1944 in Shreveport, Louisiana to LaFrance Owens and Dorothy Herrin Owens. On December 15, 1977 he married Elizabeth Ann Martin in Shreveport, Louisiana. She preceded him in death on November 23, 2009. Mr. Owens was an accountant at Camterra Resources in Marshall. Surviving Philip are one son, Rusty Owens and wife Chandra of Blanchard, LA; one daughter, Angie Graham and husband Michael of Chugiak, Alaska and four grandchildren, Rusty Owens, Jr. and Miranda Owens of Blanchard, La, and Ashley and Michael Graham of Chugiak, Alaska.
