Mrs. Phyllis Duncan passed away January 13, 2014 in Marshall, TX. Phyllis Matthis Duncan was born December 1, 1945 in Marshall, TX to Willard Allen and Lola Mae Hough Matthis. She was a graduate of Marshall High School. Mrs. Duncan was a member of First Assembly of God of Marshall, a Sunday School teacher, a Children's Church worker, and devoted mother and grandmother. Mrs. Duncan married Terry Duncan on October 30, 1966 in Marshall, and he preceded in her in death on July 27, 2012. Mrs. Duncan is survived by her sons, Glynn Duncan and his wife Jequese of Marshall, Steve Duncan and David Brannen of St. Petersburg, FL, and Mike Duncan of Marshall; grandchildren, Amanda Duncan, Jesse Rosado, Jennifer Duncan, Hannah Rosado, Bethany Rosado, Trevor Rosado; great grandchildren, Brianna Cox, Anabelle Cox; sister, Johnnie Och of Shreveport, LA; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Preceding Mrs. Duncan in death were her husband, Terry Duncan; son, David Duncan; parents and her brother Rayford Matthis.
