Malone was born February 4, 1927 to the late John H. and Francis Kage Malone in Nashville, Tennessee. He attended Pearl High School and served in the United States Navy. While living in Nashville, he united with the Gordon Chapel Methodist Church, where he served faithfully. He met the love of his life, Alta Mae, and they united in holy matrimony on January 26, 1949. They were blessed with eight sons: Porter, John, Antonio, Michael, Karl, Bobby, Troy, and Patrick. During his employment, Brother Malone worked at ICI until his retirement. In Marshall, he attended St. John Baptist Church. Mr. Malone was preceded in death by his parents, John Baptist Church. Brother Malone leaves a wonderful family to cherish his life ~ a loving wife of 64 years, Alta Mae; sons, Porter (Diana), Antonio, Michael (Sandra), Karl (Robin), Troy (Deirdre), and Patrick (Janice), eleven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
