Ralph W. Marbury, Jr. of Marshall, Texas, passed away peacefully in his home on July 7, 2026, at the age of 98. He was born on October 1, 1927, in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. He was the son of Ralph W. and Cuara Marbury. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great-great grandfather who loved his family very much.

He was married to Gay L. Maule on October 6, 1950. They spent 75 happy years together and were devoted to one another. Ralph served for 3 years in the U.S. Army Air Corps and later continued to serve his country in the U.S. Army Reserves. He was employed for 30 years at Norit and ICI Americas, Inc. He enjoyed playing tennis since his youth and continued to play doubles with his friends in Marshall for a number of years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Cuara Marbury, and his wife Gay Marbury.

He is survived by his children; Randal Marbury, Alana Williams, Vicki Wallace, and Ellen Marbury; his grandchildren, Jamie, Christopher, Brian, Tracey, Jana, Rachel and Laura; his great grandchildren Oliver, Lucas, Katie, Alec, Mark, and Audrey, and his great-great grandson Sawyer.
