A funeral service for Randy Brown, 61, of Harleton, Texas, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 3, 2022, in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Nesbitt Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, October 2, 2022, at the funeral home.

Randy was born on September 24, 1961, in Marshall, Texas to Raymond Brown and Reba Dickerson and passed away on September 24, 2022, in Harleton, Texas.

He married Debra Sue Oney Brown on July 17, 1981, in Marshall, Texas and the two remained married until his passing. He worked for Sabine Mining and was a member of Pope City Baptist Church. He enjoyed woodworking, camping and fishing. He loved his fur babies, Jackson, Sparky and Gizmo. Most of all he was a loving and devoted family man that loved spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Buddy Dickerson.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Brown; children, Blake Brown and wife, Shelley and Nick Brown and wife, Jenny; brothers, Raymond Brown, Jr. and wife, Robbie, Morgan Brown, Russell Brown, and Robert Brown and wife, Margaret; sisters, Rhonda Layton and husband, Bobby and Rae Lynn Heath and husband, John; and one grandson, Nathan Brown along with numerous other family and friends.
