Mrs. Holley passed away September 6, 2010 in Longview. Ravenell Jones Holley was born May 7, 1918 in Upshur County to Forrest Monroe Jones and Stella Mae Monts Jones. On June 11, 1938 she married Edgar Wayne Holley, who preceded her in death on May 9, 1965. Mrs. Holley worked as a Lab Tech for Darco (ICI) until her retirement in 1980. Surviving Mrs. Holley are two daughters, Wanda Hicks & husband Bill, of Longview and Barbara Cloud & husband George, of Clarksville City, TX; two sons, Terry Holley, of Baytown, TX. and Rick Holley & wife Susan, of Grapevine, TX; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren, her sister, Verna Means, of Texas City, TX, two nephews and a niece. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Valerie Jennings and Evelyn Bates. The family wishes to thank her caregivers and Beacon Hospice.
