Ray McMullen was born September 08, 1934 in Winnsboro, Texas to Robert and Lillie McMullen. He served his country honorably in the National Guard. Ray had many passions and hobbies; among them was fishing and tinkering with antique cars. He was a member of and enjoyed participating in the Cushman Club. He enjoyed his animals, Angel, the cat and Cloud, his wolf.

Ray was a family man, who loved his children and grandchildren dearly. He enjoyed teaching his grandchildren to sing Jesus Loves Me. He was a kindhearted man of faith who did everything he could to make sure everyone was always happy and taken care of. Ray was generous in ways that many never knew. He was not perfect, although he believed he was. No one will ever compare to him.

Surviving Ray is his wife, Jean McMullen; daughters, Rae Ann Strong, and Rebecca Cloninger and her husband, Tim; son, Chris McMullen and wife, Karen; step-son, Terry Simmons and wife, Jeanene; grandchildren, Leslie Starr, Casey Strong, Crista Hood, Cristiana Miller, Tina McMullen and Shawn McMullen; great-grandchildren, Ryan Strong, Sam Starr, T.J. Hood, Miles Hood and Isaac Miller. He is also survived by many other extended family members and close friends.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Carol McMullen.
