Rickey Gene Cobb I "Boopa", 74 years old, entered the loving hands of our Lord and Savior on May 21, 2024, surrounded by his family at Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview.

Rickey was born on October 21, 1949, to Talmadge and Hazel Cobb in Marshall, Texas.

Over the years, he continued his love for sports through coaching many soccer, baseball and softball teams. In his later years, you would find him cheering on his grandchildren and great granddaughter. Aside from this, he was an avid Longhorn and Cowboys fan. He had a deep love for food, family and football.
