We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Robert Barton, who was born on July 15, 1944, in Henderson, Texas, to parents Robert Harris-Barton and Lula Stokes. He passed away on November 1, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones.

In 1963, Robert married the love of his life, Phyllis Ann Barton, and together they raised three wonderful children: Robert Allen Barton, John Michael Barton, and Caleb Michael Barton with spouse Aymberly Ingle. Robert was also a proud grandparent to four grandchildren: Robert Eli Barton, Emily Lou Barton, Rachel Barton, and Dillon Barton. As well as a proud great-grandparent to Michael Korman Barton.

Robert attended Diana High School and graduated in 1962. He went on to work at Mid Valley Pipeline, where he dedicated many years of hard work before retiring in 2000.

Robert was known for his passion for working on vehicles in his spare time. He enjoyed spending hours tinkering and fixing things, always with a smile on his face. Next to supporting, encouraging, and unconditionally loving his family.

Robert will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. May he rest in peace.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Memory Park Mausoleum in Longview, Texas. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Mausoleum.
