A funeral service for Mrs. Roberta Rae Davidge, 83, of Marshall, Texas will be held on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Downs Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 26, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Downs Funeral Home. Interment will be held after at Colonial Gardens Cemetery in Marshall, Texas with Rev. Lindsay Long, Bro Chad Roberts and Bro. Ron Davidge officiating.

Roberta Rae Davidge was born on January 9, 1938 in Shreveport, LA to her parents, Ray Holland and Lily Barnette. Mrs. Davidge passed away on June 24, 2021 at Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Davidge was the owner and operator of Mings Cleaners for 35 years and was the previous owner of the Alteration Shop. Mrs. Davidge was a lifetime resident of Marshall, Texas and began her working career at the Ginocchio Hotel and Restaurant. Mrs. Davidge was a member of United Pentecostal Church, Pentecostals of Marshall, Texas. She was very faithful to God, Family and her business.

Mrs. Davidge is survived by her children, Lynn Greene and spouse Tom, David Barbo and spouse Wilma Lambert, Jackie Barbo and spouse Terri, Ronnie George and spouse Tina, Sharon Burkhalter and spouse Bob, Brenda Rhea and spouse E.D., Ron Davidge and spouse Kimberly; sister, Nancy Long and spouse Rev. Lindsay Long; eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Mrs. Davidge is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Rezin Davidge; and son Gary Ray Barbo.
