Roberta Ann Maloney was born November 13, 1931, to Prudie and Joseph H. Wilbanks in Pennington, Texas.  Mrs. Maloney passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of September 26th, 2025.

The family moved to Karnack around 1943, where Roberta graduated from Karnack High School. Mrs. Maloney and her husband Billy attended East Texas Baptist College, and resided and raised their family in Marshall, Texas.

Mrs. Maloney was a lifelong member of Eastern Hills Church of Christ.

Surviving Mrs. Maloney are two sons, Joe Pat Maloney and wife, Melissa, Bill Maloney and wife, Betty; and one daughter Sheila Weaver; grandchildren Nicki Lucas, Jody Maloney, James Maloney, Taniya Woodly, River Wheat, Cameron Weaver, Cason Weaver, Ray Bentley, Frances Annis, and Katherine Montgomery. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Maloney was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Billy Parrish Maloney, sister Cuma, and daughter Kelly Ann Dykes.

Memorial service is scheduled for 10 a.m., Saturday, October 4th, at Downs Funeral Home.  Church members Steve Smith and John Grubbs are officiating, with Daryl Ware leading singing.

In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Maloney requested that memorials be made to Rainbow Omega, Inc. in Eastaboga, Alabama.
