Funeral services for Roger Dale Stewart, 40 of Elysian Fields will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday October 8, 2016 at Golden Rule Presbyterian Church with Chad Commander and Pastor Brad Simms officiating. Interment will follow in Elysian Fields Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday October 7, 2016 at the funeral home. Roger passed away September 30, 2016.

Roger Dale Stewart was born May 26, 1976 in Overton, Texas the son of Dale Clayton Stewart Sr. and Minnie Pearl Ollis Stewart. Roger was a devoted father and loving grandfather. He loved to hunt, fish, and loved being with his family and friends.

Surviving Roger are his mother, Minnie Ollis Stewart; children, Clayton (Stormy) Stewart and Madison (William) Carroll; grandchildren, Clinton and Chloe Stewart and Allie and Carter Carroll; five sisters Della Stewart, Christi Morris, Jennifer Jernigan, Kimberly Quaid and Betty Moreland; two brothers, Ricky Stewart and Russell Stewart and numerous other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Dale Clayton Stewart Sr. and one brother, Dale (Bimbo) Clayton Stewart Jr.
