Memorial services for Ronald Owen Hume Jr., 42 of Marshall will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday January 11, 2014 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Mr. Hume passed away January 6, 2014. Ronald Owen Hume Jr. was born November 29, 1971 in Aurora, Colorado to Ronald Owen Hume Sr. and Jacqueline Swindle Simmons. Ronald was a family man who loved being at home and enjoyed music. He also loved his job working as a Hazmat truck driver. Surviving Ronald are his wife Kerry Lee Hume of Marshall; daughters Aileana Cai Hume of Marshall and Dominique Elizabeth Hume of Whitewright, TX; granddaughter, Trystan Layne Hume of Whitewright, TX; father, Ronald Owen Hume Sr. of Marshall; mother, Jaqueline Rae Simmons of Abilene, TX; maternal grandmother, Phyllis Swindle of Cisco, TX and numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and etended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his dad, Elmer Lewis Simmons; maternal grandfather, Bennie Jack Swindle; brother, Billy Jack Hume and his paternal grandparents.
