Rose Mary Wise Moore passed away Monday, July 26, 2021 in Longview, Texas surrounded by her family. She was born September 3, 1927 to Elbert Allen Wise and Marguerite Boarman Wise.

Rose Mary lived a long and blessed life having grown up in Jefferson as a Catholic, graduated from Jefferson High School and later attended Our Lady of the Lake in San Antonio and Our Lady of Victory in Fort Worth. She married the love of her life, Wayman Moore raising 10 children together. Along with her 10 she also helped raise several others throughout the years. She led a life of selfless love for her family, always there to care and comfort all those in need of her love. She always put others before her own needs. Her joy in life were her 10 children, 22 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and two arriving in 2022 and many beloved nieces and nephews. Her favorite activity was feeding all friends and family. Even when someone was not hungry at the time, she made sure they had some food to go.

Those who preceded her in death were her parents, stepmother, Addie Pucket Wise, her 3 Sisters, Adelaide, Jess and Virginia, brother Roy Butler and son, David Mark and grandson, Brian Bode.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 72 years sons, Mike (Sondra), Pat (Robin), Robert (Penny), Chris (Penny) and Richard, daughters, Pam (Mike), Terri, Anna (Cliff), Mollye (Kris) 22 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 2 arriving in January 22. She also leaves behind a host of beloved nieces and nephews and many dear friends. She was a woman who loved many and loved unconditionally.

Rosary will be said Monday, August 2, at 5pm at Immaculate Conception Church and visitation will follow in the Parrish Hall from 5:30-7. Her Memorial Mass will be Tuesday August 3, at 11am at the church.
