Funeral services for Roselyn F. Land, 77 of DeBerry, Texas will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 27, 2011 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Rev. Bryan Peck officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Park Cemetery in Shreveport, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, April 26th at the Downs Funeral Home. Mrs. Land passed away Sunday, April 24, 2011 in Shreveport. Roselyn was born in Shreveport, Louisiana to Anthony Fulco and Ethyl Ferlito Fulco on January 15, 1934. She married John Rutherford Land, III in 1957 and he preceded her in death in 1991. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. She served as an office manager for Sistematik Graphics in Shreveport and she retired after almost 30 years of services. Surviving Mrs. Land are her son, C.J.Dawson & wife Becky of DeBerry; three daughters, Christine Holt & husband Ray of Shreveport, Mary Davis of Panola, and Sharon Jernigan & husband Johnny of Panola; six grandchildren, Shane Dawson & wife Mandy, Richard Dawson, Crystal Dawson, Joseph Miciotto, Jennifer Green & husband Steven, and Johnny Jernigan,Jr., and six great grandchildren.
