Roy Le Hickey, 70 of Waskom passed away April 9, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was born August 24, 1949 in Atlanta, Texas to LeRoy and Libby Winifred Rogers Hickey. He married   Sandra Kaye Heflin on December 7, 1968 in Waskom, Texas, and they celebrated 50 years of marriage before her death in March of 2019.

Roy worked 44 years in the oilfield and he enjoyed fishing, camping and the outdoors, but most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Sid (Cheryl) Hickey, and Melissa (Kevin) Neal; grandchildren, Cody Hickey, Kevin Lansing, Jr., Ethan and Tatum Neal; sisters, Ruthie Jo Gardner and Winnie Boyd; numerous nieces and nephews, and his Halliburton family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Hickey, and parents, LeRoy and Winifred Hickey.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 13, 2020 at Restland Cemetery in Waskom, TX.
