Funeral services for Sallie Simmons O'Bryan, 65, of Snyder will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 22, 2013 at the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Colonial Gardens Cemetery. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held 6:00-8:00 P.M., Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Downs Funeral Home. Mrs. O'Bryan passed away March 16, 2013 in Lubbock. Sallie Simmons O'Bryan was born in Montgomery County, Texas on October 12, 1947 to Arthur A. and Jessie Mae Williams Simmons. She enjoyed fishing, and loved her family and football. She was a Baptist. Sallie is survived by her daughters, Annette Keene of Ft. Bragg, NC and Laurie Hagan of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Christal Romero of Tampa, FL, Kevin Romero of Lake Charles, LA, Jacob Dodd of Indianapolis, IN, Connor Keene of Ft. Bragg, NC; great granddaughters, Salline and Rayne; sisters Deanna McClure of Snyder, TX, Sharon Stolz and Debbie Kelley both of Longview, TX; and brothers, Joe Simmons of Marshall and Dennis Chambers of Houston, TX. Sallie was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Jessie Mae Simmons and two brothers, Arthur D. Simmons and Ronnie Simmons. Pallbearers will be Mark McClure, Eddie McClure, Wayne McClure, Jacob Dodd, Scott McClure and Robbie Walters.
