Funeral services for Sally Mae Rogers, 61, of Marshall will be held 1:30 p.m., Saturday, July 21, 2012 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Gardens of Marshall. A time of visitation will be held 7:00 - 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 20, 2012 at Downs Funeral Home. Sally passed away July 15, 2012 in Longview. Sally May Brightman Rogers was born February 13, 2012 in Marshall to Ray B. and Clarice Davenport Brightman. She attended Marshall Public Schools. She was a member of Bel Air Academy Church. Sally had been a teachers aide for the Adult GED Program. She married Roy Rogers. Sally Rogers is survived by husband, Roy Rogers of Marshall; daughters, Shoshana Rogers of Jackson, MS and Donyell Rudd of Marshall; grandchildren, Tevin, Kevin, Raymesha, Tyesha, Rog-Tayvioua; brothers, Cozy Brightman, Foster Brightman both of Houston, Elvis Brightman of Marshall; sisters, Dorothy Brightman Rudd, Clarietha Brightman, both of Marshall, Priscella Gray, Quinetina Williams, both of Dallas; a number of nieces and nephews.
