Samuel Drapper's Obituary
A funeral service for Samuel Draper, 47, of Marshall will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, April 16, 2016 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Mr. Draper passed away Saturday, April 09, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.
Samuel Dewayne "Rabbit "Draper was born May 27, 1968 in Marshall to Samuel Draper and Clarece Burks Draper. Samuel enjoyed playing dominos, collecting games and movies. Samuel was family oriented and full of life. He also enjoyed just being around people and people just enjoyed being around him.
Surviving Samuel are nine siblings, Patrina "Tina" Draper of McKinney, Reggie Draper (Trasnonda), Tyrone Haley and Roman Haley, all of Marshall, Lewis Haley and Rosie Draper, both of Waskom, Demetrius Haley, Sammie Haley and Charles Haley of Shreveport. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, K'esha Mona Draper, Shondreal Lashay Draper, Jaden L. Sears and Cayden D. Draper; maternal aunts, Faye Washington (Paul) of Longview and Florine VanHook of California; uncle, Hayward "Luke" Burks of Dallas; five paternal uncles, three paternal aunts and 19 cousins including Quatoya Washington, Liglea Barnes, Likuan Washington.
