Funeral services for Samuel Braden Simpson, 23, of Marshall will be held Saturday, January 19, 2013 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Bro. Sam Buzzard officiating. Interment will follow in the Algoma North Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Visitation Hour from 6-8 p.m., Friday, January 18th at the Downs Funeral Home. Samuel passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013 in Marshall. Samuel Braden Simpson was born on March 25, 1989 in Marshall, Texas to Robert Waylen Simpson and Teena Michelle Brown. He graduated from Marshall High School. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, enjoyed basketball, fast & furious cars, motorcycles, ATV's, jet skis, carnivals, lights of all kinds, and loved scary Halloween movies. He is survived by his father Robert Waylen Simpson, brother and sister-in-law Brandon and Gennifer Hayes, brother Christopher Simpson, sister Samantha Simpson, grandparents Dean and Robbie Brown, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother and his brother Michael Simpson. A special thanks goes to Dr. Terry Gerber, and GSMC Marshall ICU staff.
