Sandra Kaye Hickey, 67 of Waskom passed away on March 15, 2019 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was born on February 10, 1952 to Elmer Heflin and Lurline Varnell Heflin. She married Roy Lee Hickey December 7, 1968 in Waskom, Texas. She was a homemaker and worked in the cafeteria at Waskom and Elysian Fields Schools. She was of the Baptist Faith. Sandra loved and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Roy Lee Hickey of Waskom; Children, Sid Hickey and wife Cheryl Hickey, Melissa Neal and husband Kevin Neal, Grandchildren, Cody Ray Hickey, Kevin Lansing, and Ethan and Tatum Neal, her brother James Heflin, and numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.

She is preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Lurline Heflin, her two brothers Johnny and Marvin Heflin, and her three sisters, Shirley Loyd, Margaret Bridges, and Charlotte Roberts.

There will be a visitation Thursday March 21, 2019 from 6-8 P.M. at Downs Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday March 22, 2019 at 2 P.M. at Downs Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery.
