Sandra was born on July 9, 1946, in Vivian, Louisiana to Amos Edward Waters and Nettie Mae Hart Waters and passed away after a brief illness on December 2, 2024, in Longview, Texas.
She married the love of her life Billy Frank Wall on November 30, 1963, in Atlanta, Texas and the two were inseparable for over 63 ½ years. They set the example of what true love really is, for their children as well as their grandchildren and for anyone who knew them. This LOVE never failed through the 61 years of their marriage. She was a homemaker for all of her married life. But her love of books and community led her to take a job for a few years at Karnack Elementary School as the Librarian. Her love for the outdoors was evident in most of her hobbies, mainly since she was always outnumbered with the boys! But, she did enjoy collecting rocks, camping, gardening, writing, reading and of course studying her Bible. She was a true prayer warrior in the sense that you always knew she was going to stand in the gap for you and believe it was done! This was a very unique gift that everyone could see and feel with her. Everywhere she went, she made sure you knew her relationship with God and by the time she left, she made sure you were clear on your salvation. She and Billy loved to travel and bought an RV to be able to travel to as many State Parks as they possibly could. Their favorite spot was a bluegrass festival in Walden Arkansas called "Turkey Track" where they made numerous trips. During that time, they made many memories as well as lifelong friends.
Christmas was the highlight of her family, and was always well thought out and prepared, with each year consisting of a theme. She made sure it was a memory filled event full of shenanigans. But, the main focus was God, Family and Prayer for each other for the upcoming year.
Her favorite scripture was Isaiah 40:31, and truly found hope in the Lord who renewed her strength "Soaring on Wings like Eagles." She ran without becoming weary and walked without being faint. This is how she lived each day.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Nettie Waters.
She is survived by the love of her life for 61 years, Billy Frank Wall; sons, Jerry Wall and wife, Laura of Marshall and Robert Wall and wife, Kristye of Karnack; grandchildren, Colton Wall and wife, Taylor of Marshall, Dakota Wall of Chicago, Remington Wall and wife, Chelsey of Karnack, Jacey Siau and husband, Bailey of Marshall, Hunter Koetting and husband, Ian of Karnack, Brooke Parker and husband, Justin of Marshall, Ashley Filippazzo and husband, Joseph of Marshall and Ashley Alton and husband, Rick of Baytown. As well as her great grandchildren, Taylor, Aaron and Jace Parker, Hadleigh and Grayson Koetting, Eden and Davis Wall, LauraBeth Siau and Ryleigh Wall along with other family and friends.
