Graveside services for Sandra Woodley, 72 of Marshall will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday August 13, 2011 in Woodley Cemetery, Elysian Fields, Texas under the direction of Downs Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday August 12, 2011 at the funeral home. Ms. Woodley passed away August 08, 2011. She was born March 02, 1939 in Harrison County to Birdie Woodley and Melba Harris Woodley. Sandra worked for S.W. Bell as a operator in Marshall and then moved to Dallas where she worked for AT&T for 30 years as a supervisor. She later moved back to Marshall after retiring and volunteered as a Pink Lady at Good Shepherd Hospital in Marshall. Surviving Sandra are two sons, John Ellis, III and wife Linda of Marshall and Douglas J. Williams and wife Deborah Lynn of Augusta, GA; three grandchildren, Jina, Sherry and John Ellis, IV; five great-grandchildren, Travis, Cami, Dustin, Samantha and Bobby Ray; one brother, Felton Wayne Woodley of Longview and one sister, Karen Hordern of Marshall.
