Sara Kay Allen, 76, of Marshall, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 29, 2025.

Sara was born on September 20, 1949, in Austin, Texas to Charles A. Allen and Maxine P. Allen. She graduated from Marshall High School in 1968 and continued her education at the University of Texas in Austin. She made her home in Dallas before moving back to Marshall in 2010.

She will be remembered for her keen wit and vast knowledge of small facts that made her the first choice of trivial pursuit partners. She had a strong love for her animals, especially her cats.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Maxine Allen.

She leaves behind her sister, Belinda Allen; loving brother, Clay Allen and wife, Ebee; niece, Savannah Allen; nephews, Clayton Allen and wife, Amy and Garrett Allen and wife, Becca; great nephew, Ried Allen and great nieces, Millie Allen and Lucy Jane Allen along with other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her honor to the charity of your choice.

A burial will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Gill Cemetery in the Gill Community.
