A memorial service for Scott Douglas Andrews, 51, of Kingsville, Texas, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 25, 2026, in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home.

Scott was born on June 5, 1975, in Lakenheath, England, to Gary Douglas Andrews and Jannie Harris. He passed away on July 16, 2026, in Corpus Christi, Texas.

After attending Marshall High School, Scott spent many years working as a successful car salesman in Marshall, Texas. He had a gift for connecting with people and never met a stranger. His outgoing personality and quick wit helped him build lasting friendships with customers and colleagues alike. Growing up, Scott loved sports and played soccer, baseball, and football. The competitive nature and determination he displayed on the field would remain part of who he was throughout his life

Scott was also an accomplished bowler and was especially proud of achieving multiple perfect 300 games over the years. Whether competing in leagues or spending time at the bowling alley with friends, bowling was one of his greatest passions and a source of many cherished memories.

A devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, Scott remained optimistic through every season, always believing the Cowboys would one day return to the glory days he remembered from the 1990s. Win or lose, he faithfully cheered them on and never lost hope for next year.

Scott was preceded in death by his father, Gary Douglas Andrews, and his stepfather, Brad Bittick.

He is survived by his mother, Jannie Bittick of Marshall, Texas; sons, Blake Andrews of Marshall, Texas, and Ashton Powell (Jacie) of Oklahoma; sister, Stacey Haaland (Eric) of Marshall, Texas; brother, Bradley Bittick (Martye) of Marshall, Texas; grandchildren, Nixon Andrews, Lawson Powell, Grayson Powell, and Annslee Powell; girlfriend, Christina Hall of Kingsville, Texas; nieces, Maeghan Longoria (David), Michaela Haaland, and London Haaland; nephews, Brock Bittick and Dean Bittick; and numerous extended family members and friends.

Scott will be remembered for his sense of humor, competitive spirit, love of sports, passion for bowling, unwavering loyalty to the Dallas Cowboys, and the friendships he made throughout his life. Those who knew him will carry forward memories of the good times shared, the stories told, and the laughter he brought to those around him.
