Funeral services for Sharon Juanette Brown, 69 of Waskom will be held at 10 a.m., Friday May 6, 2016 in the chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Lovett officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Cemetery in Waskom, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday May 5, 2016 at the funeral home.

Sharon Juanette Brown passed away May 3, 2016. She was born July 20, 1946 in Tyler, Texas to Wadel L. Luman and Ruby Ray Green. Sharon loved to fish and really enjoyed watching her cork bob around. She also loved watching her hummingbirds and riding around with her family. Sharon loved spending the holidays with her family eating and visiting. Robin, her favorite niece was like a daughter to her.

Surviving Sharon are her father, Wadel L. Luman and wife Lou; two daughters, Christie Lynn Robinson and husband Mike and Tammy Renea Joplin and husband David; three grandchildren, Nicole Wright and husband Matt, Haley Woodall and husband Tommy and Victoria Holder; two great-grandchildren, Kristine Wright and Chelsie Wright; two sisters, Dale Carpenter and husband Cosby and Tina Luman; two brothers, Mark Luman and Ronny Luman; niece, Robin Tabraham and husband David and numerous other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Ray Green and her grandparents.
